![]() The Pocono's are absolutely breathtaking in the fall, so just the drive to the resort and around the town was a blast. ![]() We live only about 2 hours from the resort and it was our first trip to the Pocono's, so we really had no expectations. My husband and I spent the weekend here for our wedding anniversary. Thank goodness we didn't stay over!!! More Show less The only redeeming part was that we were with friends. And for this we paid all that money!! The only good part was the band. It was horribly crowded, food sucked, totally disorganized, poor service. No one came to serve our table drinks, and the only one to help us with drinks was our bus-girl who was great. Most of the food ran out by the time we got there, and people were waiting for new trays. The food was hors d'hoevres and tapas, nothing hot, no salad, no pasta, no veggies. ![]() The line for the "buffet" took another 30 minutes waiting, and we didn't get a plate until 11:15pm. What a disappointment!!!!! After waiting on a long line for 40min that snaked through the casino just to get in, we were seated at a table for 14 and could barely get out of our chairs. It was their most expensive gala, $125 pp.We hadn't been out anywhere for New Year's Eve in many years. We bought 4 tix to the Ice Ball for their New Year's Eve gala promising buffet dinner, open bar, live band. ![]()
